As of right now, I am refining one of my shirts designs and working on refining the other after I’m finished with the first. I should be Finalizing both of them but life caught up to me. I am about a week behind in my schedule as you can see below. I’ve decided that I am going to make 2 t-shirts and 2 posters instead of 3 each. (a more realistic approach)
Week 4 – Refine shirt designs
Week 5 – Finalize shirt designs
Revised Schedule for the rest of the term:
Week 5 – Finish refining shirt designs
Week 6 – Finalize shirt designs
Week 7 – Start thinking up gig poster designs – have sketches
Week 8 – Finalize band logo and have rough comps of posters
Week 9 – Refine designs
Week 10 – Finalize all graphics, Final designs due

This is my second shirt design. They said they’d really like a giraffe fighting a panda/koala. I just have to trace it and color it. This one wont take as long as the first shirt, it’s much simpler…
For the actual logo of the band this is what I came up with. I spoke with them and they said they love bright flashy colors, but something that doesn’t stray away from their music’s hardness. So after some sketching and talking to them, we agreed on this concept…

This term so far has been really fun, but in the same time, very stressful. I love the work in all the classes but its hard keeping up. This class I have spent more time on work than I originally thought, which is why I have decided to change it from 3 shirts and 3 posters to 2 each. It’s much more realistic to get those done in time for the final due date. I see the rest of the term staying slightly the same pace as it is now, so what I have to do to stay on or ahead of schedule is to simple follow my schedule, prioritize my time and not procrastinate!
