Dear Mike Hanson,
I’m writing to you to apply for the internship position at NBCC. I am sure that the experience gained through this opportunity will be of great benefit to my career as a graphic designer. I know my skills and experience will be useful for the tasks and projects I would be doing for this internship.
I am very passionate about design and am always searching out for new inspiration. Even though I am just finishing my design degree, I already have many years design experience from the many projects I have completed in the past. I also have extensive experience and training in Adobe CS3 and CS4, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Bridge. I am very comfortable with the computer and a quick learner. I am detail-oriented and meticulous, producing excellent results in a timely manner. I work well independently and as part of a team.
I will graduate this June with an AAS in Integrated Media, Graphic Design. I specifically have a special interest in brand identity design, and truly am passionate about creating the look, feel, meaning, and characteristics of a company. I am more than willing to provide samples of the work that I have done in the past and look forward to an opportunity to show you the rest of my portfolio.Thank you for considering me for your internship position.
